 A daughter born as the dream of a father's eye, becoming the eyes of her father, is bringing her ideal father to life through words, what can be a greater gift of affection towards her father! I salute such girls from the bottom of my heart. How touching is the name of this book, how symbolic, how imagery - (कंटक पथ पर नंगे पांव) Barefoot on the Path of thorns . I can guess from the title itself how much struggle Papa must have gone through, walking barefoot in a world like thorns .I think this book based on the life of the most respected Babu Kaushal Prasad ji will be an inspiration to all and a guide for the new generation.

Dear Shikha ji, both of you have done an exemplary and commendable work for the society and related field by presenting your father's contribution and struggle in words. This book will become a milestone on the subject and a source of inspiration for the readers. I feel proud on the great daughters of such a great father.

पिता की आंख का सपना बनकर पैदा हुई बेटी पिता के नयन बनकर अपने आदर्श पिता को शब्दों के माध्यम से जीवंत कर रही है, अपने पिता के प्रति स्नेह का इससे बड़ा उपहार क्या होगा !

 ऐसी बेटियों को ह्रदय से प्रणाम करती हूं। इस पुस्तक का नाम कितना मार्मिक है, कितना प्रतीकात्मक है, बिम्बात्मक है - कंटक पथ पर नंगे पांव

 मैं इस शीर्षक से ही अनुमान लगा सकती हूं कि पापा ने कितने संघर्ष किए होंगे, कंटक जैसी दुनिया में नंगे पांव जैसी चुनौतियों पर चलना। मुझे लगता है कि प्रातः स्मरणीय पिता बाबू कौशल प्रसाद जी के जीवन पर आधारित यह पुस्तक सभी के लिए प्रेरणास्पद होगी और नयी पीढ़ी के लिए मार्गदर्शक।

प्रिय शिखा जी आप दोनों ने अपने पिता जी के योगदान व संघर्ष को शब्द रूप में प्रस्तुत कर समाज व संबंधित क्षेत्र हेतु एक उदाहरणार्थ व प्रशंसनीय कार्य किया है। यह पुस्तक संबंधित विषय पर मील का पत्थर बनेगी और पाठकों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत। ऐसे महान पिता की महान पुत्रियों पर मैं गर्व का अनुभव कर रही हूं।

ऐसी पढ़ी लिखी से तो अनपढ़ ही अच्छी लड़कियां  दैनिक जागरण के 13 जनवरी 2013 के''झंकार ''में दुर्गेश सिंह के साथ चित्रांगदा सिंह की बातचीत के अंश पढ़े , तरस आ गया चित्रांगदा की सोच पर ,जो कहती हैं -      ''  मुझे कुछ दिनों पहले ही एक प्रैस कांफ्रेंस में एक वरिष्ठ महिला पत्रकार मिली ,उन्होंने मुझसे कहा कि अपनी इस हालत के लिए महिलाएं ही जिम्मेदार हैं ,कौन कहता है उनसे छोटे कपडे पहनने के लिए ?मैं दंग रह गयी इतनी पढ़ी लिखी महिला की यह दलील सुनकर ...........''     दंग तो चित्रांगदा आपको ही नहीं सभी को होना होगा ये सोचकर कि क्या पढ़े लिखे होने का मतलब ये है कि शरीर को वस्त्र विहीन कर लिया जाये ?सदियों पहले मानव सभ्यता की शुरुआत में जैसे जैसे खोजकर कपड़ों  का निर्माण आरम्भ हुआ और मानव ने अपने तन को वस्त्र से ढंकना आरम्भ किया नहीं तो उससे पहले तो मनुष्य नंगा ही घूमता था देखिये ऐसे -   और आज की लड़कियां अपने तन की नुमाइश कर आदि काल की  ओर खिसकती जा रही हैं और समझ रही हैं खुद की अक्ल से खुद को आधुनिक .सही कपडे पहनकर कॉलिज आने...

पत्र और पत्रोत्तर  1-09.06.1990 बाबूजी का पत्र   Late Babu Kaushal Prasad Advocate ji had very close relations with the influential officials and politicians of his time and he knew how to keep those relations alive, but till date the record is that he never took any personal advantage of any relationship, even That in their papers, we found filled forms for notary advocate, both of his own and his wife Mrs. Bina Kaushik Advocate ji, but neither he could get himself appointed notary nor his wife.  On the appointment of Hon'ble Shri Virendra Verma ji as the Governor of Punjab, he sent warm wishes to him on behalf of the Bar Association as President Bar Association Kairana, as well as on the receipt of the letter sent by Virendra Verma ji in support of the High Court Bench , Babu ji also praised his speech given at Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi on 28 May 1990, but along with all this did not forget to keep in mind the interest of his Bar Association and wrote at the end...
